WPFW — Winter Park Fashion Week

Winter Park Fashion Week 2027 Beneficiary

EVERY CHILD DESERVES TO WRITE THEIR OWN STORY.

Proudly supporting REED Charitable Foundation

This year, our runway carries a purpose that reaches far beyond fashion.

For our sixth annual Winter Park Fashion Week, we are honored to support REED Charitable Foundation, an organization dedicated to transforming literacy education and empowering teachers with the knowledge and tools to help children become confident readers.

Because every story begins with opportunity. And every child deserves the chance to discover what their future can hold.

01 / Why Literacy Matters

BEFORE THEY CAN WRITE THEIR FUTURE, THEY MUST LEARN TO READ.

Reading is more than an academic skill. It is a foundation for confidence, independence, learning, and opportunity.

Yet far too many children face barriers to literacy, often without access to the specialized instruction they need.

REED Charitable Foundation is working to change that by making high-quality, evidence-based literacy training and educational support more accessible to teachers, schools, and communities.

Their work recognizes that when educators have the right tools, they can help change the trajectory of a child’s life.

Because learning to read isn’t simply about words on a page. It’s about opening doors to possibilities that might otherwise remain unwritten.

02 / Meet REED Charitable Foundation

EMPOWERING TEACHERS. TRANSFORMING FUTURES.

REED Charitable Foundation is a Florida-based nonprofit committed to improving literacy outcomes by equipping educators with effective instructional approaches.

Through structured literacy training, Orton-Gillingham instruction, professional development, implementation support, and educational resources, REED helps teachers better support students with a wide range of reading needs, including children with dyslexia.

Their vision is a world where every child has access to the literacy instruction needed to build confidence and pursue lifelong success.

04 / Why This Partnership Matters

AN UNWRITTEN FUTURE. ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.

The theme of Winter Park Fashion Week 2027 is UNWRITTEN — a celebration of possibility, creativity, individuality, and the extraordinary stories still waiting to unfold.

Our partnership with REED Charitable Foundation gives that theme an even deeper meaning.

Every child has a story worth telling. Every child deserves the confidence to discover their voice.

And every child deserves access to the educational foundation that can help them shape their own future. By supporting REED, Winter Park Fashion Week is proud to help bring greater awareness to the importance of literacy and the transformative power of effective teaching.

The future is unwritten. Let’s help every child have the opportunity to shape theirs.

05 / Fashion With Purpose

WHEN FASHION MEETS PURPOSE, BEAUTIFUL THINGS HAPPEN.

Winter Park Fashion Week was founded to strengthen our local business community and celebrate the boutiques, designers, and creative professionals who make Winter Park extraordinary.

As our event has grown, so has our commitment to giving back. Each year, we are proud to select a charitable beneficiary whose work creates meaningful opportunities for others. In 2027, that mission leads us to REED Charitable Foundation.

Through the generosity of our sponsors, participating businesses, volunteers, and guests, we look forward to using the power of our runway to elevate awareness and support for literacy education — celebrating fashion while helping create opportunities that extend far beyond one evening.
